My Review .

I really wasn't sure what I expected when I was given a copy of this for an honest review , I have never read a historical romance with a splash of erotica involved but I was completely blown away by the story line . Not once was I disappointed . The characters are written with such passion and the author did a fantastic job making each one stand out above the rest . The plot in this book is so good you really don't know what to expect every time you turn the page . Something new is there to push you past your normal historical romance .

Lord Savage is a very strong alpha character , He is the type of man who knows he is every women's dream and knows how to use it to his advantage .  He isn't used to not getting what he wants , he also has a deep past that he doesn't let anyone see .

Mrs Hart is a young widow from America in search of that deep desire , that longing for the sexual experience . She was married into a marriage of convenience , And is longing for what she has only heard from in passing . She doesn't care if what she is seeking is classed as scandalous . Coming from money she is used to getting what she wants without having to ask twice .

The storyline starts out with the pair meeting at a ball , Under scandalous reasons . They soon realise that for different reasons they both want each other. They both get invited to the country for a house party thrown by a very scandalous couple . Once at the country house they find themselves involved in a game of Protector and the Innocent . This turns the story line into a heated mix , They both soon realise all is not as it seems and they seem to be fighting there own feelings towards each other . And everyone else in the house. After all this is a week long party of scandal where anything goes , And everything and anything is allowed .

A huge congratulations to the author on a fantastic plot that keeps you guessing every step of the way .  Once you think you have it worked out you are blown out of the water once again . In my opinion this book is well worth the read .
